German Gourmet has evolved through generations of passionate ownership. After decades of success under founder Wilhelm Wenzel, the business expanded under Raimund Pagani, who introduced Swiss products and enhanced deli services.

Brothers Michael and Clifford Haene later continued this tradition of growth, bringing with them extensive food industry expertise and a dedication to customer service. Michael, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and Clifford, a University of Maryland business graduate, helped expand the store and its offerings while preserving the character customers have trusted for years.

Their vision helped shape the spacious Falls Church location, allowing guests to enjoy a broader selection, easier parking, and a more comfortable shopping experience.
